Modeled after the popular blade
styles of our "Handmade Series", each of the "Hunter Series" knives
features our incredibly tough D-2 steel blades. These are more
economical models with "Suregrip" style black rubberized handles; a
slightly thinner (.16") full tang blade with our bead-blasted
non-glare finish, and stainless steel bolsters rather than the
nickel silver used on the more exclusive "Handmade" models. The
oiled leather sheath has a snap keeper strap and is perfectly molded
to fit the knife. Due to numerous requests, we have added an
optional gut hook to the Alaskan and African Hunter models. They are
the same D-2 tool steel and are identical to the standard Hunter
Series in every way except they have gut hooks.
